Okay... I've been there. I'm a mom to two littles and I've been the SO excited for school pictures...blindly ordering them, fingers crossed that they come out. All excited only for the pictures to get to me two weeks later and my daughter's hair was totally out of whack (an easy fix) and/or my kids look like they're actually in pain taking these photos, or, for the third year in a row it's the same exact pose, style, backdrop.


That's where hiring a fine art, natural light photographer comes in. Imagine receiving 5-10 high quality, naturally posed photos of your little ones. Their bursting personalities, smiles (or not), missing teeth, painted nails, new glasses are on full display. They look relaxed, you can recognize their smile, it feels natural.


At Lindsay Healey Photography, my mission is to deliver a tailored, boutique experience to every family within our school communities.


The results are genuine and timeless portraits that are far from the traditional cheesy photos we have become accustomed to with bright flashes and inter-galactic, neon backgrounds.

My process is simple, it's fun, it's easy. For all involved.


For the schools - no cost, all communication can flow through Lindsay Healey Photography or you can maintain ownership. I can handle payments, printing, and shipping directly to your families!


For the parents - you'll receive 5-10 images in a digitial gallery where you can chose which ones you'd like to purchase for a set fee or upgrade to your entire gallery.


FAQ

What do you offer for schools?

I photograph individual student portraits, group or class photos, and staff images. My
approach is simple, natural, and designed to capture kids as they really are.

How does this differ from traditional school photography?

Instead of stiff poses and forced smiles, these portraits are relaxed and timeless. Each child
gets several images to choose from, and families can select the ones they love best. I'll focus on the little details that makes your child unique in this very moment, missing teeth, tiny painted fingernails, long eyelashes, etc!

How do families get their photos?

After picture day, every family receives a private online gallery. From there, they can view the
portraits and download or print their favorites. Everything is handled online for ease and
convenience. Prints are shipped directly to the families, schools are not handling any payments/money!

What does the school need to do?

Very little. I provide everything needed for picture day and organize the flow of sessions.
Schools receive clear instructions ahead of time so the process runs smoothly. It costs nothing to the school for this session!

How many students can you photograph?

My school photography approach lends itself to smaller preschools, nature preschools, Montessori schools, small home daycares, etc! But please, get in touch and we can chat more about your needs!

When do you book school portraits?

I can schedule sessions throughout the school year. Many schools prefer fall, but spring or
another time of year works just as well.

Do you provide extras like class photos or yearbook images?

Yes! Class or group photos are available, and I also provide the school with any images
needed for yearbooks, staff directories, or websites. I love offering more candid playing shots with friend groups too!
